The bed mattresses of the two ground floor bedrooms are very uncomfortable.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. During the winter months our home undergoes an in depth clean, and all items within it are checked for functionality. In February 17 this year, a brand new mattress was put in a downstairs bedroom. Our guests comfort is important to us. We would like to thank you for re booking with us again next year.

Great cottage. Nice quiet area but within easy walking distance to town and very good fish and chip shop, Chinese and pub. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.

A good base to explore North Somerset. Nice town with shops a short distance away. Decent take aways and a nice Tea Room & Pub. There is a carvary down the road a few miles Brent House - well worth a visit, book though. Go for a take-away dessert - it'll last 2 days!. Sat on the balcony watching the local cricket. You can walk to Axebridge or Cheddar down the strawberry line. It is all very english and rural. Two hot air balloons took off from the field oppostite, say within 100yards!. Adjacent to the cricket field, a couple of mins walk, is a football pitch with an array of outdoor exercise equipment - great for a constutional walk. A very good holiday.

This was a lovely property. Although in a quiet location at the bottom of a private road, nothing in the brochure description said that the property over looked the local cricket pitch and local football pitch from the rear of the property. Would however stay here again.
