We had a fantastic few days at Orchard End. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and organised. There is everything you need for a few days. It was lovely to receive a welcome pack with bread, eggs, butter and milk. The biscuits from a local bakery were exactly what we needed after a 6 hour drive! The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The location was great for travelling in to Cambridge via the Park and Ride. We are hoping to visit again in the summer when the weather is drier and we can get out and explore the local area more. I highly recommend a stay at Orchard End.

We took our puppy with us to the cottage, Kerry was there to meet us and showed us round and where everything was. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the decor and furnishings great, the kitchen was set out very well and we had everything we needed. The log fire came in handy as the weather was freezing, the heaters were timed individually and one of them had a little issue which made the lounge chilly, so Kerry gave us more logs and we were absolutely fine. There was nothing to fault otherwise except one thing - we did spend a fair bit of time in the cottage as the weather was so freezing cold and snowy, and we both found the sofa really uncomfortable and difficult to relax on - sorry! Thats my only fault, otherwise I would and have recommended it to everyone!

Modern, cosy cottage. Surrounded by countryside. Nice quiet country lane for walking dogs. Good pub half a mile away. Would definitely use again.

We were lucky enough to be the first people to stay in this beautiful property and can honestly say it was nothing short of perfect. The property is built in grounds of the farm house where Kerry (our host) and her family live. It is completely private and fenced off from them. All windows overlook the garden and surrounding fields and the hosts did not intrude at all. They supplied all the basics (bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee etc) which we were not expecting. We have two teenage boys who we were convinced would be bored to tears but we went on lovely family walks with the dogs and played in garden as if they were young kids again. When they weren't outside they were quite content to sit on their phones/tablets on the wifi or watch a movie with mum and dad on the sofa. There is a nearby village with everything you will need shops/takeaways/pubs etc. I wish our hosts every success with their holiday home and thank them for such a lovely peaceful break. Kind regards Danny, Clare, Bradley and Connor
