We stayed for a reunion weekend with former service comrades. A lovely location, clean and tidy, plenty of space to move around etc. The plusses are nice place, easy to find, quiet, scenic and a good size to house a dozen or more people. The minuses - a couple are that the fridge is not big enough for a party of 12 for a weekend so no chance for a week stay. The fridge needs to be a double sized American style to give more room. The smoke detector over the cooker needs to be relocated as it kept going off with the cookers on and the bedrooms were strange sizes - some large and some small so there were issues getting around the beds (downstairs). the only other thing that would be useful is a sensor activated floodlight for the car park which at night is pitch black. The nearest pub is almost 2 miles walk and the local garage does not open on Sundays. Would recommend and would certainly stay again.

We had a familymoon at the barn. Our blended family of 6 plus respective parents. It was a very special week. The barn is very comfortable with areas for everyone to spread out and do their thing! Plenty of items in the kitchen to ensure cooking for 10 was a breeze. We managed to have a BBQ, enjoy eating outside several times during our week and have lots of fun in the huge garden. Our little dog was very happy too! All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, although some people may expect a little more up to date furnishings and bedding, it was all very clean and did not impact on our stay. The location was great too, far enough to feel away from it all but near enough to lots of attractions for the very youngest in our group (8yrs) to the oldest (78yrs)! Special thanks to Sarah for meeting the Tesco man as we were well and truly delayed in traffic on our first day!! Having all the food shop put away was fantastic. It is a holiday we won’t forget. Lots of special memories made and bonding for all the family.
