The large garden was a great hit with our children! Ideal and convenient base for a number of enjoyable trips to local National Trust venues. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable accommodation. It was clear that a great deal of thought had been put into setting up the cottage. Lovely peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Would strongly recommend to others.

What a lovely place to stay. We wanted somewhere we could relax as I’m 32 weeks pregnant, as well as making some child-friendly outings with our 15 month-old. The barn was incredibly clean, cosy and comfortable. Everything is high quality and the kitchen is well-stocked with things you might need (Tupperware and vinegar were particularly helpful!). The weather was very wet when we stayed, but the garden is beautiful and we had a little tramp around in our wellies. It would be wonderful on a sunny day. There is lots to do within 30 minutes’ drive. The barn is very rural so you’ll need a car for any outing. Tina is a lovely and friendly host. She removed a single bed from the barn to make room for our travel cot. We hope to come back again soon with our 2 little ones in tow!

Brilliant romantic escape. The images don’t show it but you are on the owners grounds whos property is close by but they where in no way intrusive, whilst on my stay. The property was faultlessly clean and decorated wonderfully, with a lovely private garden. I would defiantly stay again.
