A lovely old fashioned cottage in a gorgeous quiet village with no through traffic. The owner, Evelina is a lovely lady and very helpful. Village pub serves very good food and the tea shop is delightful.

Lovely lady who owns it. Great location a very quirky old cottage. Sadly the bathroom is poor and needs an up date.

The cottage was very nice, we enjoyed a great time and the host was very friendly, helpful. She provided games for the children to play with and even came later on with additional toys. She knows a lot about the surroundings and can give great advice about where to go and what to see. Overall we had a great time and loved the cottage. We would love to stay there again.

Heydon is simply stunning - a throw back to the 18th century in many ways and this property is completely private, super quiet, very comfortable and set in gorgeous grounds. Evelina, the owner, makes sure the amenities are as modern as you can get in an old property - comfortable beds, a cozy living room, a well appointed kitchen. the location could not be better. Heydon is a private village with no through-road so there is absolutely zero traffic noise. The pub, tea shop and traditional bakery just one minute walk across the green provide almost all you need for a super relaxing get-away.
