This was a very clean and comfortable place to spend a week. We enjoyed being able to walk to the shore from the house, about 2 mins down the very quiet lane. It would have been nice to have a garden to eat out in (which I didn't check before booking so not a complaint as such) although there was a seat at the front of the house. There was a small field - a bit along the lane from the house, with a maximum of 5 caravans, but not near enough to be intrusive in any way. The sitting room was extremely comfortable, as were the beds in the twin room we used but there is no window in that bedroom, which didn't bother us. The double room has a lovely view to the nearby hills. Both rooms had plenty storing space for clothes & other belongings. The kitchen was very well equipped: it lacked nothing, most unusual in my many years' experience! The bathroom was spacious, with a good heated rail. I found it a very easy house to run. My reasons for not going back would be the lack of garden space and the dark twin room. That said, we found the house to be very manageable & comfortable overall.

Dry comfortable accommodation. Close to coast which meant our husbands could go metal detecting while we went into Cockermouth and Keswick and enjoyed the shops and and coffee stops . Just what we all needed a time to relax Thank you
