Good quality internal fitments. Wi-fi poor however. Due to mezzanine design bedrooms can hear everything that’s going on downstairs. Neighbours were easily heard through the adjoining wall. The exterior of the property does not lend itself to being used, lots of flies from the adjacent cow shed. The rear grassed area gives no view to the countryside due to farm building. This is too much of a working farm if you’re looking to relax as farm machinery and continual work on buildings destroyed any peace.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry the cottage didn’t meet your expectations during your visit. We try hard to ensure people enjoy their holidays with us and appreciate your feedback, sadly the WiFi speed is not superfast but it is the best we can provide at present until the lines are upgraded in this area. We have fitted fly screens to windows to ensure the inside of the cottage is fly free, and we use fly traps around the farm but unfortunately can’t eliminate them from outside areas near the animals, however the patio area at the front of the cottage is usually far enough away from the animals to be fly free. Unfortunately there was some building work taking place during your stay as we are replacing and updating a cow shed before winter, we did ensure the builders didn’t use their machines in the early mornings or evenings but I’m sorry this work caused a disturbance at the time of your visit.

Roomy and pleasant cottage. Pity the bathroom is downstairs, but we knew that when we booked.

Lovely quiet location. Friendly welcome. Nice homely feel - enjoyed trying the wood burner! Ideally situated for exploring both coast and countryside. Would visit again.
