Really nice cottage and people but wouldn't stay there again due to the location. It was out the way so made journeys quite long trying to get anyway. Also, if your staying bring everything with you, as it only has tea towels and kitchen equipment. Great for kids though and hot tub was lush.

If you want to get away from the rat race. Look no further. See the stars and listen to peace. Close enough for lovely drives to castles and beaches too so no matter the weather, kids or non, you’ll have a relaxing time. Almost didn’t review as want it as my secret.

Lovely and peaceful location for a relaxing holiday. Well placed for North Devon and North Cornwall. It is some distance via small country lanes to local shops and amenities - which we liked very much. Owners very helpful and welcoming. Cottage is small. There were only two adults in our party for a week and if there had been four adults as originally planned it would have felt cramped. However excellent value for money and we would return (with a party of up to 3 adults or 2 adults/2 young children for anything over 3 days!).

Despite some rain and sickness we were very comfortable and relaxed here. The children loved the cottage and play areas. The owners were very helpful and friendly especially when two of my children were poorly. This is definitely off the beaten track and we loved feeling secluded and being surrounded by beautiful countryside. We enjoyed seeing the animals and having a walk down by the river. We would definitely stay again. The cottage was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. Thank you!
