Fiona couldn’t have been a better hostess, a delicious cream tea to welcome us, a tour round the farm to feed the calves and horses, not to mention she went out of her way to organise pony riding on our behalf! Beautiful property in a stunning location. Dogs not only welcome but given 5* facilities! We only wish the weather was colder (!) so we could use the wood burning stove...

Wonderful location, made welcome by owner and locals. Glorious walking with or without dogs. Pubs not within comfortable walking distance.

Very comfortable well equipped modern cottage. Good facilities for both the mature in our party (55)and the young 1 1/2 year old. Cream tea of that quality is always going to be a great start to any holiday week, and although our weather was very poor for the whole week we found interesting places to explore. Village offered little but not really an issue, Farmers Boy pub famous for it's pies was a nice place to eat .

Beautiful welcoming cottage, great location. Spacious, very nicely presented and well equipped. Fantastic hosts great communication, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Although we didn't have our dogs with us it is clear that dogs are very welcome too! Cream tea on arrival a great touch and great local pub for a really nice meal.

We enjoyed our Christmas at Oak Bank Cottage. The house was comfortable and well equipped with good quality furnishings and appliances. There were plenty of plates, mugs, bowls and cutlery so we weren't constantly having to wash up. A beautiful bone china tea set was also set on the table with a cream tea for us on arrival! The beds were possibly the most comfortable we have ever come across. The showers were powerful and there was constant hot water. We loved the underfloor heating which kept the cottage warm. Our four legged friends were well provided for with warm beds, blankets, towels, bowls and even poo bags all supplied. We enjoyed lovely walks right from the front door, with excellent maps and guides provided. The local convenience store was exceptionally good and had all the basics plus lots more.

Lovely cottage, especially like the little touches, on top of the yummy cream tea, such as tissues in ever room, handy with kids, hairdryer in every room, utensils, washing up liguid, foil, kitchen roll, usually have to take your own. Fiona & Hubby most welcoming and took time to show the family the farm animals. Wanted to re book for next yr and too late already booked up for October 2018.

Spacious and comfy home with well equipped kitchen. Good to stay in a holiday home where the dogs are more than an after thought- a lot of care and attention to detail had been put into their facilities as well as for the humans to ensure we all had everything we needed for the week. We walked up to the Farmers Boy Inn one evening and had a delicious meal. We would also recommend a trip to Symonds Yat and for something completely different a wine tasting tour at Three Choirs vineyard, which is only a short drive away. Other recommendations include a takeaway from Lea spice Indian and a walk up May Hill.
