Brilliant cottage, made for a very relaxing weekend. Upon arrival, it was very clean and welcoming - the owner had even made up a welcome package of essential food! The bedrooms were spotless and very beautiful. The only very slight negative is that there were no local shops, but that is nothing to do with the cottage itself! Just awkward when we realised we had forgotten some things! Would definitely recommend and go again.

We all fot round the dining table and all had a seat in the living room so was fantastic. We cooked a big breakfast and a big tea plenty of pots pans and all kitchen utensils didnt need to take anything.

Spent a week in this lovely cottage over the Christmas period. We booked due to the hubby turning 40 on Christmas Eve! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped. It is a farmhouse, therefore is an old building but this adds character to the place. The pool area is a hidden treasure and a must to visit. The women in the group would've loved a massage treatment, however you need to book in advance, which I didn't know, so maybe for future bookings of the cottage could this be forwarded way before arrivals to avoid disappointment? Lovely hot tub in the garden, which we spent many nights in. The cottage is on a farmyard and to arrive you need to go down a dirt track so expect a dirty car. There isn't much around, we drove a good 10 mins to visit Market Rasen, spent boxing day at Market Rasen Racecoure and a day out at Cleethorpes is a 45 minute run. If you want a place to unwind, chill and have no sounds of the hustle and bustle, this cottage is a must!! We spent an amazing week with family here, memories that will not be forgotten! The only negative I have is the wooden flooring in the living area could do with lifting up and relaying or new flooring due to gaps, which caused little toes to get stubbed. Would I visit here again......absolutely!!

We stayed at the farmhouse recently and would not recommend or return. On arrival, the property was found to be of a low standard and very unclean. We spent the first hours of our holiday cleaning the utensils, pots, glasses and the oven as they were all too dirty to use. We had to buy foil trays to cook in as the pans were of an unacceptable standard to use. There were hairs from previous guests in one of the ensuites and due to no ventilation in the same ensuite there was a very damp smell. The kitchen sink tap came off, there was a leaking radiator dripping on the carpet and in general the house was certainly not 4* quality. We contacted the owner to inform her of the problems and the response we got was less than satisfactory! We have stayed in many accommodations as a large group and this is the first time we have had to complain.
