Peasholm Park is just across the road with its stunning gardens and walkways. Have a go on the pedalos and rowing boats that are on the park lake or sit and listen to one of the many brass bands that play there during the summer. The open air theatre, the largest in Europe, is a 5-minute walk where you can see many international acts in high season.
