Fantastic quiet quaint little cottage with adequate space for a couple and a dog if need be. Very private walled location with plenty of space outside to sit in the sun and a short walk away is Rutland Waters. Weather was fantastic so all in all greasy weekend.

No bedroom as such, just a single bed each side of a passageway to loo. No heating in that area. Poor heating in lounge. Owner did kindly bring us a fan heater which helped.

We were looking for Self Catering so we were surprised at the lack of a table and chairs for dining - there is room. Also the frying pan was tiny - no omelettes or steaks for us! There was no extractor fan so we had to sit in the cooking smell. The overall stay was fine but we had to eat our evening meals on our laps and we normally sit at the table chatting and playing cards but we had to watch tv instead.
