A wonderful location, with lovely views. The apartment is at the top of an old building (a bit of a climb). The communal areas in the building need some care and attention, but once you’re in the apartment everything changes - for the better. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped and the bathroom has a very modern looking decor, with a large bath and nice electric shower over the bath. The living room area (part of an open area with the kitchen) is comfortable but the sofa (a corner sofa) is very slippery to sit on. There is Sky TV and there are radios in every room. The bedroom is small (just a double bed) but there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Because of the weather in Scotland the apartment can be cold, but there are electric heaters in the living room area and the bedroom. There is a washing machine in a utility room. Parking can be a problem when there are lots of visitors coming to Blackness Castle which is just a short walk away from the apartment, but usually you can find a space somewhere just outside the apartment. An ideal holiday apartment for two people.
