Cottage itself was great, bigger than i expected and well equipped. It was quiet when we went so the kids had the pool and games room to themselves mostly. There was plenty nearby to see and do, although all at least half an hour in the car. The roads around the cottage were narrow, bumpy and flooded a bit in the rain, but never enough to be a problem. All in all, we had a good few days and would go back again in the future.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your good review, so pleased you enjoyed your stay, found plenty to do and were able to make the most of the swimming pool and games room.

A lovely well equipt cottage in beautiful surroundings. It has everything you need and more. We were there in December, cold outside but very cosy inside the cottage. We would definitely stay there again, but in the summer months.

Had a lovely stay. Swimming pool, games room and park loved by the children. Chaffinch was spacious and everything we needed. Some issues with showers working in both bathrooms and master bed a bit uncomfortable but did not impact on a great week.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: We were most grateful you told us immediately of the issues you experienced with the showers which enabled us to rectify the situation quickly. Very pleased you all enjoyed your stay at Chaffinch.
