Nearly cottage was perfect for our requirements . It was cosy and clean and had good attention to detail with lots of notes to allow you to settle in quickly. A unique welcome pack was supplied which was lovely. The location was fantastic with easy access to the coast and the South Downs, and in the village itself there were several good places to eat , and the 2 that we went to were very dog friendly and only about 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. We would highly recommend Nearly Cottage and would hope to return in the near future

5 minute footpathed walk down steepish hill into attractive village with all shops needed, plus vets and lovely pub. Short walk to another lovely pub further up hill from cottage. 20 minute drive to gorgeous Arundel and Littlehampton. Cottage cosy, bit small for 4; 2 double beds. Compact courtyard is astroturf and gravel. Our old dog found it very difficult to walk on. I'd only take a small dog here. Cottage situated on popular footpath, gravel road to allotments- was bit noisy for us with windows open in summer with pedestrians. Parking is directly in front of cottage door so with a big car we were unable to use front door but just used back entrance no problem. Lovely décor, excellent linen and very generous welcome pack. Carpeted steep stairs ok for us but not elderly/toddlers. Owner readily contactable for problems.
