Description

Overlooking the bay of Mevagissey, this apartment is the ideal base for a seaside holiday retreat.

This stylish, comfortable holiday apartment enjoys an elevated position overlooking the beautiful Mevagissey Bay. A short walk will bring you to the centre of this historic working fishing village, with its diversity of restaurants, bustling cafés, pubs, galleries and shops. From spring through to autumn, a ferry will take you across the bay to the town of Fowey which can be seen in the distance. Mevagissey offers the perfect base for all types of holiday, whether it’s a peaceful break, beach holiday or activity break. Pentewan, Port Mellon and Gorran Haven beaches are readily accessible. Port Mellon beach can be reached on foot from Nare Court and is in a small sheltered cove, perfect for relaxing or exploring. A cycle track at Pentewan provides an alternative route to one of Cornwall’s world famous attractions, the Eden Project. The cycle track joins a network of trails right into the heart of Cornwall’s historic china clay area. A short drive, or a pleasant walk, from Nare Court will bring you to one of Cornwall’s most famous gardens, the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Other nearby attractions include Caerhays Castle, Lanhydrock House and the Shipwreck and Heritage Centre in Charlestown, home to tall sailing ships and a regular set used for film and TV programmes. Fantastic holiday here, it was our first time in Cornwall and we loved every minute we didn't want to leave. The only thing I think were missing were some pizza trays and a pizza cutter and some larger white wine glasses and larger mugs but other than that which is just as personal preference it is perfect would love to stay here again. It's a shame they don't allow dogs as my mum wanted to go and she has a small dog.

Fantastic apartment but felt rather expensive. Rugs in apartment we felt as a trip hazard as rolled up at edges. Car park space very tight for our car which is an SUV needs mentioning on details as even with careful maneuvering we caught our mirror. We found the small frying pan full of oil in the oven and larger frying pan handle is very loose.
