Gorgeous cozy cottage that i booked for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lots of board games, books and dvd's provided which was good as the weather wasnt the best and the open fire was brilliant Beautiful views and scenary. I would definitely come back. Delia even offered to give us a lift to the local train station and pick us up again.

What a fantastic location and cottage nothing was too much trouble. We've stayed in the local area many times but this cottage by far is the best. Beautiful grounds you can walk around and a lovely area to explore.

A lovely cosy cottage in the middle of the Moors with a very warm welcome. The living room was snug and warm. Everywhere was clean and tidy with plenty of equipment. The only slight downside was the bathroom which while clean could do with a refresh.

Silver Birches was a really nice , relaxing and peaceful. We loved the location and the fact that it was a long way from any traffic or noise of any kind. The only thing I would change and this is only based on how far this location is from any shops is to possibly think about putting a welcome pack in the cottages, as opposed to having driven approximately 6 hours to arrive at Silver Birches to then have another 1 1/2 hour round trip into Whitby to buy some milk for a cuppa. This extra drive really was too much considering how long we had already spent in the car that day, but all things considered it was a very good value for money break.
