The worst cottage I have stayed so far. Firstly, the contact person never answer any of my phone calls. Secondly, the property owner has several cottages in different names in same roll. The booking comfirmation never state which one I should enter. Because the contact person didn't answer my call, me and my parents (which aged 72 and 78) after whole long day travelling have to stay outside over half an hour to work out which one. Thirdly, after we enter the property, found out it's a spider heven. Spiders and webs just everywhere. I just too scared to enter the bathroom to shower, at least 10 spiders there. My son even scared to sleep in bed because the spider in bedroom, so he slept in sofa in living room. I won't go back there ever!

Lovely setting on a working farm so obviously need a car for getting out and about. Good value for money giving a lot more space and flexibility than a hotel room. Not far from York although we were only there for a weekend to visit relatives in the neighbouring village. Would recommend.
