Cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Stunning views of Ben Nevis from the lounge and the river just yards away. Ideally located with Fort William just a short drive away. We will definitely be returning.

We arrived at the cottage in snow. Everywhere looked beautiful, but most of had gone by Sunday morning. We were greeted by the friendly owner, who came over to feed the birds and what a variety we had. The owner warmly welcomed us back to the highlands, reminded us were she was if we needed anything then kept a respectful distance for rest of our stay. The weather was very reasonable for February and we visited a lot of places including Arisaig, Mallaig, Spean Bridge Woollen Mill, Inverness via the 'Glenbogle Road' through to the A9 at Kingussie; up to Brodie for lunch and down to Nairn beach for a dog walk, before returning back to Morar Cottage. Thursday was a beautiful day which we spent in Oban on Ganavan Sands. However, Friday was horrendous due to Storm Erik so we never went out. We sat and watched the churning river and saw an otter whoosh by in the foaming torrent. All the time, despite the storm, the birds still came for food and provided more entertainment. We had a lovely chill out holiday. ,

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable. Remember to take your own towels. Fabulous view of The Ben and lots of wild birds to watch from the windows. Would definitely book again.

The cottage could use an update, but it is very comfortable and it's got everything you need. The view is really amazing!
