Very comfy, cosy cottage. Everything you need nearby and , despite the weather, which no one can predict, we enjoyed our stay.

Best suited for a couple, and not like us,a couple plus elderly relative who used the downstairs room. Not really suitable for 2 adults to sleep upstairs on the mezzanine floor. Plus the kitchen too small for anything more than one person at a time. Views fantastic, and some lovely quiet walks nearby. Clean inside on arrival. Dodgy folding bathroom door, which could be improved so it actually stays shut when you are inside. Basically good value for the lake District for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.
