Comfortable cottage, very quiet but very close to amenities. Road to cottage was rough but ok if you take your time. Resident geese and plenty of birds to see and the odd squirrel. Views out to the sea were fantastic and lovely to sit out on the veranda watching the sun set. Cottage had everything you need.

A lovely well equipped cottage with everything we needed for the week. Easy to find with the information given, in a lovely rural location with stunning views. The heating was lovely to come home to after a long day walking in the cold. The only downside was the shower as it was just a trickle of water, but we managed for the week.

The cottage itself was fairly clean but could do with a high dusting, cobwebs. The patio door does not lock so your items are not secure. The bird table was full of life as was the front of the property and verranda with rats!. Whilst i understand there are rats and other wildlife with being in the country, the owner kept throwing down goose feed and bread several times a day it only seemed to encourage them,.At one point i counted 14 rats to the front, yards from the door and 2 on the verranda,so the patio couldnt be left open. I even recorded them onto video in case anyone wants to check.

We had read about the rough drive and the geese before we arrived and the drive was not to bad once you find the right line to drive. The geese were always around your front door droppings all over the place, drove our spaniel puppy crazy. We felt the cottage was cold and damp and had cobwebs all over the place. The main bedroom and the bathroom leads off the very tiny kitchen. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower over the bath was just a trickle. As most guests had said the views are good but the cottage spoiled it.
