Whilst acceptable the standard of the cottage was shabby and in need of updating. The location was more isolated than we were led to believe with a poor single track road which probably caused some harm to our small car.

The complex was a lot smaller then we originally thought. The views were fantastic accommodation clean and spacious. Unfortunately we couldn't visit the beaches due to the weather. We visited several towns during our week most of them were beautiful with lots to see and do.

Jasmine apartment is on the end of a row of apartments, with stunning views across the countryside. When sitting in the patio area, or looking out of the windows, it feels like you're the only people for miles around. You can also see most of the play area and activities, which is great for keeping an eye on the family. The systems that are still in place to prevent the spread of COVID19 are excellent, and we felt very safe. They had a rota for using the pool, where you could book two slots a day but stay in if the next booking didn't arrive. There is also a games room with lots of sanitiser available. The restaurant serves gastro-pub style food with a really good selection. We ate there twice and were very satisfied. (My husband said his beef burger was the best he'd ever tasted - and he's tasted a few!) Fish cakes were also excellent. On Sundays, when the restaurant is closed, if you don't want to cook there's a pizza van selling seriously good pizza! We had a lovely stay and would recommend Moorhead to anyone looking for plenty to do when the weather is poor, or you don't want to venture out. You do need a car to go anywhere else though, and the local roads are pretty narrow and bumpy!
