Another lovely stay at Montana. Such a shame about the cliff path being closed - hopefully will soon be fixed. Another shop in the village would be such a delight!!

A lovely little bungalow located in the quiet village of Happisburgh, only a couple of minutes from the lighthouse and the access to the beach. When we visited, the storms earlier this year had destroyed the sand ramp down to the beach, so access to the beach had to be via Cart Gap about a mile up the road. Still, it didn't matter, because we still had a great time. The bungalow is well appointed and very clean and tidy, without feeling clinical. It does feel lived in, which is nice. There are 2 good-sized bedrooms, the master having direct access to the garden through French windows. it is a very large room, too. The kitchen-diner is a good size, too, with another access into the garden. The front room is a good size, too, with a lovely open fire. We lit it each evening during our weekend break, and chilled out with a glass and heavy eyelids!! The owners are lovely and very thoughtful, with a nice welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk and a selection of biscuits, both for humans and pets. The dogs loved that little touch, thank you very much. The garden is perfectly secure and ideal for you to let your dogs roam safe in the knowledge that they cannot get out. Mostly laid to lawn, with a few plants and shrubs, the scents left by previous holidaymakers, gives them plenty to sniff and explore. An ideal location for exploring Cromer, Winterton and the Broads. We loved it

The cottage was very cosy and the bathroom looked as if it had been upgraded recently. The kitchen was dated and in need of an update. The general cleanliness could have been better in the kitchen area. The area is very nice and we had a enjoyable holiday and the open fire was lovely at night.
