Molly’s Cottage is a fantastic family property located just a short distance from the beach, local amenities and popular attractions!

Within 500 yards of the beach

This spacious, Victorian terraced cottage enjoys views of the two picturesque churches of St Marychurch and is within easy reach of the popular shops and cafes in the nearby precinct. Many of the attractions are within walking distance of the cottage such as the South West Coastal Path, Oddicombe Beach - just 500 yards away, Babbacombe Cliff Railway and the stunning Babbacombe Downs. The Model Village and Kents Cavern are also close by. Torquay is one of three beautiful towns forming the sheltered Torbay, renowned for its warm climate and clear bathing waters. St Marychurch is just along the coast and would appeal to those preferring a quieter side of Torquay. The holiday cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard making it ideal for a family holiday and would make an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth, all just a few miles away. There are many things to do in Dartmouth and Paignton. Visit Agatha Christie’s summer house, or take a ride on the steam train. There are also many National Trust properties to see in the area. The location of this cottage was perfect for us. The local pub and shopping precinct, with supermarket was around 100 yards away. Its only a short drive into Torquay town centre and Paignton, Goodrington and Cockington are all a stones throw away. The house is immaculate and is very well equipped. We were a party of 5 ranging in age from 4-74yrs and it suited everyone. If you are planning to stay here make sure you try Hanbury's fish and chips, they are award winning for a reason - yum!

Loved the cottage and the area, not too far from the beach and a lovely area to stay, just a pity you cant leave the car outside the house all day.

Mollys cottage is a real home from home, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay & very clean. Close to supermarkets bus stops & a small shopping precinct. Buy a Day or Weekly tourer bus ticket & travel all around Torbay or visit within 5 mins walk Babbacombe Model Village or the Cliff railway to Oddicombe beach near the Babbacombe Downs & all its restaurants, pubs & cafes. I would definitely recommend.

Very impressed with the accommodation. My comment re value is only because we went Easter week we paid £300 approx. more than other following weeks. I really don't understand why people cash in on this sort of thing e.g. school holidays more expensive
