Not for anybody over 5.10 inches tall no rubbish bin found out reason why no house number it was a shed .

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I am unsure about this comment, as the bins are clearly marked and there is reference to the location of the bins in the guest information folder in both properties.

We have had this cottage for three of the last four years It seem in a very sad way at the moment No bedside table lamps The lamp in the lounge didn’t work light bulbs not working The previous two years the when we arrived at the cottage there was a nice welcome gift No gift this time The cottage is ideally situated in the harbour It just needs a bit more loving care put back into it

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments and I'm so sorry the cottage was not up to scratch for you. I'm afraid we did stop doing a welcome pack as we quite often found people were not using them and they were adding to costs, but we may well revise this. We are in the process of upgrading this cottage and will take note of your comments. I do hope you will come again.

Excellent location perfect if you want to enjoy the village and surrounding area, great little cottage once you get past the strange bathroom arrangement - would stay again

Great location, and a cosy comfortable cottage. There wasn’t any toilet paper when we arrived though so we had to buy our own. Luckily we didn’t get caught short! Other than that, a comfortable stay

Ok stay but cottage fell somewhat short of its potential. Okay to be pet friendly but needs to ensure that this does not compromise the comfort or enjoyment of guests.

The "quaint cottage" did not represent the pictures and was like staying in a dolls house. Toilet tiny and downstairs, the shower in a cupboard in bedroom - totally uninviting and we are relatively slim people. Lorna was helpful with arrangements but we left at 4 am on the first night even though we booked and paid for 2. The seagulls were so noisy and felt like they were in the room with us as windows and roof no insulation. Parking at least 15 mins walk uphill. On good side in a central location near pubs and restaurants and bed comfy. Could not see how anyone would survive more than a few days

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; So sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Moll's Yard is indeed tiny, as many of the cottages in Port Isaac are, due to its size and age we are limited with what we can do with fitting in the shower and loo. We have insulated all we can within the limits of such an old property but I'm afraid the seagulls are very noisy at this time of year, particularly in Port Isaac where there is a harbour. We do hope you may re-visit another time - perhaps in the autumn which is quieter and just as beautiful.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable - just big enough for 2 adults and a dog and a perfect base for exploring the local area. Beware unloading and loading the car though - the roads are so narrow so pack light!!
