Quirky cottage, enjoyed stay, some general maintenance and renew of fixtures and fittings required eg seal on shower door, bedroom curtains, cracked mirror, plus outdoor area needs tidy and new furniture.

The "quaint cottage" did not represent the pictures and was like staying in a dolls house. Toilet tiny and downstairs, the shower in a cupboard in bedroom - totally uninviting and we are relatively slim people. Lorna was helpful with arrangements but we left at 4 am on the first night even though we booked and paid for 2. The seagulls were so noisy and felt like they were in the room with us as windows and roof no insulation. Parking at least 15 mins walk uphill. On good side in a central location near pubs and restaurants and bed comfy. Could not see how anyone would survive more than a few days

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; So sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Moll's Yard is indeed tiny, as many of the cottages in Port Isaac are, due to its size and age we are limited with what we can do with fitting in the shower and loo. We have insulated all we can within the limits of such an old property but I'm afraid the seagulls are very noisy at this time of year, particularly in Port Isaac where there is a harbour. We do hope you may re-visit another time - perhaps in the autumn which is quieter and just as beautiful.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable - just big enough for 2 adults and a dog and a perfect base for exploring the local area. Beware unloading and loading the car though - the roads are so narrow so pack light!!

Very nice cosy cottage for two energic adults and one young dog. The road to the Co-op and car park or bus stop was very steep! Just once a day was enough. There is very little outside space and the view from the windows was very limited. Loved Port Issac but would stay somewhere else next time.

Only issue we had was the microwave wasn't working and with only 2 rings it was very difficult to cook a meal. Other than that we loved our stay and the location is perfect.

Lovely weekend break and loved the coziness of the cottage. Especially the nice touch with the wine and milk in the fridge.

Milk, wine and biscuits was a nice touch but a bit small for two people and a dog. Signs of damp in places will need attention. No wi-fi or phone line which was a problem.
