Had a fabulous Christmas break in mole cottage. Log burner was great. They even put a Christmas tree up for us which I thought was a lovely idea. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. Local pub was excellent and the landlord made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend this cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mole Cottage. It is ideally located for exploring Devon. The cottage was spotlessly clean and all the facilities we needed for a weekend away were there. It was lovely to be able to light the woodburning stove in the evening and it made the cottage so cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the window blinds darkened the room enough to allow a holiday lie-in. Parking directly outside the cottage is the norm for the village but as Remembrance Sunday was during our weekend and the Village War Memorial just opposite the cottage my husband was loathe to leave the car in case it was in anyone's way. So he went down the road directly after the cottage on the left.A short distance down and left again he found a stretch of street which was not outside any houses and parked there. So if anyone was concerned about disrupting traffic by parking outside there is an alternative. We can also heartily recommend the First and Last Bistro in the village - we had a wonderful evening meal on the Friday night.

We loved staying at Mole Cottage, and particularly enjoyed the wood burner! The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed and more, like Netflix and towels and a bowl for our dog. The location is beautiful and only a short car journey away from beaches and the Dartmoor national park. The only downside of the location is perhaps that there are no shops in the village, and the nearest shop is in the next village which is a short drive away. The other thing was that there seemed no spare toilet rolls, so we had to drive out to get some more. But all in all we had an amazing time and would definitely go back to Mole Cottage and recommend it to others!

Lovely cottage with everything you need! Local pub does not serve food but the Bistro does. We found that the cottage was a great location for visiting different parts of the coast for walks and also for Plymouth.
