Stylishly renovated, with everything you could need. Loved eating breakfast in the upstairs sitting room looking out to sea. Many tourist attractions are within easy reach. There is a dog friendly beach at Portheras Cove which is absolutely stunning and very secluded about an hours walk along the coastal path. We had a big problem trying to find parking, on arrival there wasn’t a space and we had to ask the neighbour if we could drive down to the property along his drive way to unload. We then had to park in a public car park 3/4 mile away. We were conscious of previous reviews of vehicles being vandalised and didn’t want to park anywhere that might upset the local residents. We had to park in the public car park several times. The property is supposed to have sea views from the garden, but don’t expect to be sitting in the garden looking at the sea. You can only see the sea if you peep through a gap in the hedge which overlooks the neighbours lawn and sitting area. However we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Lovely little place for 2 (+dog), nice and quiet which is just what we wanted. View from upstairs lounge is stunning. Great walks on the coast path, great beach nearby if you make the effort to walk to it. Local villages have everything you need.

Mini Barn cottage was amazing, we loved it and the window for the sea view was fantastic. We did bang our heads on some of the low ceilings, but we just got used to where to duck. Our down side was not the cottage but the lack of dog friendly beaches around this area.
