Milnhead Cottage certainly has that ’chocolate box’ appeal and is a delightful country cottage set in a beautiful rural corner of Dumfries and Galloway. This charming cottage is a little bigger than it looks as it was once six dwellings accommodating a miller, his workers, animals and the grain store; it offers bags of space for family and friends to enjoy. The mill (attached to Milnhead Cottage) fell into disrepair, but was converted in 1993 and is now the home of the cottage owners David and Sandra. The two properties share a driveway.
The spacious living room, with its cosy wood burner, is the perfect place to sit and unwind after a day exploring and the kitchen has everything you would need to enjoy your stay while preparing meals. With a dining room and a breakfast room there are options to make your mealtimes here as informal or formal as you like! Set all on the ground floor, three good sized bedrooms, a modern bathroom with waterfall shower and separate shower room along with a large utility room (perfect for your four-legged friends) complete this charming property.
