Very nice accommodation but the reason I would not go again is that, at my age, I had great difficulty with the stairs.

A lovely holiday cottage that was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, no parking but local car park was easily accessible. We will be returning to beer next year.

A really well-equipped cottage, with everything you could need in the kitchen to self-cater. Comfortable beds, which are an essential. A short walk to the beach and other amenities. There are plenty of toys and games/books and dvd's. Some small negatives: Disappointing outside space, we had beautiful weather and would have sat outside in the evenings but the courtyard is surrounded by other cottages and a restaurant whose staff constantly walk through. Uncomfortable lounge sofa. No on-site parking (£25 a week at public car park) and towels not provided. Despite these things we extended our stay, and for the money the original booking was great value. (Note: 2 night extension was much more expensive) So, if I was coming to this area again and this cottage was available I wouldn't rule it out. But I would probably pay a bit more for somewhere with on-site parking, towels provided and a nicer outside space.

Had a wonderful time - the weather was awful but the cottage was cosy and welcoming.

Lovely cottage in a prime position. Clean, comfortable and quite well equipped. Little things such as no cheese grater, no soap in the bathroom and absolutely no welcome comfort such as a couple of tea bags and a bit of milk in the fridge, these small extras would help make the arrival after a very long drive a warmer experience. Otherwise, a lovely cottage, loved the back yard for sitting out in the evening, close to the high street but set back enough to be peaceful and quiet, short walk to the glorious beech. Highly recommend this lovely cottage but please consider my comments.

Well equipped and comfortable cottage. Excellent base for exploring East Devon and the area around Lyme Regis. Suitable for couples or small families. A bonus was the sitting out area at back. No parking, but the public car park is very close to cottage and you can pay for a long-term ticket. The seaside village of Beer is a coastal gem.
