Relax in your very own hot tub overlooking a brook whilst at this wonderful holiday lodge, located on the Wales/England border.

Located on Welsh/English border

These three very attractive detached holiday lodges (refs W43690, W43691 and W43692) are set together in a small cluster in the most peaceful location on the edge of Llangunllo near Knighton. The lodges boast their own private hot tubs and sit in 2 acres of grounds. The original Mill Race wet area is inside the grounds, which may be wet or dry depending on the weather. Knighton is an area best known for its association with Offa’s Dyke, but due to the town being partly in Wales and partly in Shropshire, there are many nearby attractions, including, in Wales, the red kite feeding station, the Judges Lodgings, Spaceguard Centre, Elan Valley and Powys Castle. In Shropshire, nearby places include The Secret Hills Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm, Clun, Stokesay, Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Racecourse, Attingham Park and Ironbridge. Shop 7 miles, pub 250 yards.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Lodge 3. Very clean, airy and light with beautiful views of the valley. Well equipped with everything you need. The Hot Tub was great and we enjoyed star watching from the veranda. The master bedroom window overlooks a large oak tree which makes it feel as though you’re in a tree house. Lodge 3 is truly away from it all, there are no shops in the village and the nearest petrol station and supermarket is in Knighton about 5 miles away, despite this there is plenty to do and lots to see within an hours drive, i.e. red kite feeding station at Rhayader, Hereford, Ludlow and Ludlow food centre, Leominster, Oakchurch Farm Shop and Powys Castle. We would certainly book this cottage again.

The lodge was lovely and clean and finished to a high standard. The hot tub was great. The WiFi was non existent (but I enjoyed the break from being constantly connected) and there was an infestation of flies (but we were next to fields and a brook) so those things didn’t ruin our weekend. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay at this lodge again.

We absolutely loved staying at this lodge, the owner was there to greet us and very friendly and helpful, the lodge was well equipped and Immaculate throughout (and I am very fussy!)the views from the back and especially from the large hot tub are stunning! It was a special family get together with my aunt and uncle over from Australia, and they really loved it too.I would defiantly return, and would highly recommend the lodge!5 stars!

A fabulous lodge. Wonderful hot tub. Big pity it’s not near any immediate attractions. Minimum of 30 minute drive needed.

Idyllic setting, friendly owners and away from everything yet only a short drive from shops and pubs (or a short walk if you only want a drink). The property was spacious and had everything we needed and felt very private, we would use again if in the area.

Great accommodation, clean, modern, spacious and lovely quiet setting. Owners were helpful, and allowed us earlier entry. Really enjoyed our stay, the sunshine helped too! Would definitely recommend if you want a quiet break. WiFi is poor, but understand owners do not advertise it as having great WiFi. Can get it in certain areas-not an issue for us at all. Only minor negatives were that due to the cleaning of hot tub, it was not up to temperature until very late on the Friday evening. Also the fridge and freezer were not on so took some time to get cold.

We could not fault the lodge, and the owners were very helpful.
