A beautifully presented detached cottage in a peaceful and tranquil location the perfect base for a get away from it all break.

Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine.
Utility room: With freezer and tumble dryer.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.

First Floor:
Bedroom 1 (The Cosy Cabrach): With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2 (Hare Haven): With zip and link kingsize bed (can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request).

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Inital fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack.

Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture, fire pit and BBQ (charcoal and logs for fire pit available at cost). Bike and kayak store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.

Mill of Gariochsford is a charming, traditional detached cottage, situated in a tranquil and attractive rural location in Aberdeenshire. This traditional cottage comes extremely well-equipped, with a contemporary kitchen and a cosy living room warmed by a wood burner, perfect for those chillier evenings. A wide selection of games are also available. The ’Squirrel Away’ conservatory is truly delightful and offers views of the adjacent countryside and fields, often filled with cows and sheep. You are likely to also catch sight of our resident rabbits, pheasants and a variety of birds. The family bathroom is complete with a electric shower over the bath, toilet and a heated towel rail. Both well-appointed bedrooms are situated on the first floor. ’The Cosy Cabrach’ room offers a kingsize bed and the ’Hare Haven’ is a zip and link kingsize bed. Outside enjoy the enclosed private garden where you can enjoy a barbecue, warm yourselves around the fire pit or just relax on the decking or hammock taking in the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings.
Mill of Gariochsford is just 4 miles from the village of Rothienorman with its takeaway, shops and pub. Just 15 miles away is the bustling town of Inverurie with rail links to both Aberdeen and Inverness. Nearby Turriff, 8 miles, is another popular town and serves as the main shopping centre for the surrounding farmlands. Both towns host several restaurants offering traditional Scottish fayre and international cuisine. The historical city of Aberdeen is located 32 miles away and offers a plethora of shops and leisure facilities including art galleries, theatres, museums, botanical gardens and an amusement park. Golfers can choose from one of the selection of clubs situated locally, including Fyvie 9 hole course, which enjoys stunning views over the north east countryside.
Should you encounter wet weather, try the swimming pool and sports centre in Turriff, or give ten pin bowling or trampolining a go in Inverurie. Located in the heart of Scotland’s ’Castle Trail’ you can easily discover some of the most famous and dramatic castles in Aberdeenshire. There is also easy access to the Malt Whisky Trail via the A96 and A95 trunk roads. Nearby, the distinctive Bennachie, 23 miles, is a popular hill climb for young and old alike, with excellent footpaths and a popular visitor’s centre. The Aberdeenshire Coastal Path is a must, especially Newburgh Beach for seal watching.The beautiful Cairngorms are easily accessible for a day trip. Nearest shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
