On the banks of the River Endrick on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park

Mill House Annex is situated in a very unique location on the very banks of the River Endrick near the hamlet of Gartness, on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.  Mill House Annex dates back to the 1800’s when it once was a working mill producing textiles.  The water wheel has long gone but evidence of the water ways and structures can still be seen. The property is quaint and quirky with thick walls, floors which run off at different angles, ceilings of varying heights and even a few stone steps to take you up from the lounge into the kitchen area.  Stable doors lead out to an open mature garden area and the river side is only 3 metres away.

Lovely quirky cottage in quiet location not too far from shops and restaurants. Owners are friendly and helpful but left us to ourselves. Nice to watch the heron fishing at breakfast!

Lovely, peaceful and secluded spot on the river. Had to do a lot of driving but the cottage was a haven of peace after busy days out and about. We loved it.

Had a lovely weeks stay. The place is comfy, peaceful, more spacious than you'd expect and the owners very welcoming. Add in it's location and view from the windows and we found nothing not to like about the Mill House Annex.

This annexe is absolutely lovely, we often sat by the waterfall just on the side of the property and watched the salmon jumping up and the kingfishers flying up the river. Location was lovely and peaceful, with the main supermarket being about 20 mins away. Loch Lomond, Argyll and Elizabeth Forest all nearby for walking. Only negative, was the shower was a bit hit and miss. Owners were lovely!
