We had a great weekend for my mother’s 80th birthday with all the family. Lots of young teanagers and two dogs meant the fact that everything was a little tired and dated was a benefit, because the adults were not worried about minor scuffs etc. Lovely walks around the vicinity and easy reach of Cromer. A lovely weekend, in a great house with lots of rustic charm.

Need WiFi as the mobile phone coverage blows with the wind. This is especially important with a property that sleeps 16 people - there are bound to be complications arising that require good communications, even if only for a short while. The recommended caterers, Madisons Outside Catering, and Anne in particular, were absolutely outstanding.

The house provided the whole family with the weekend that was overdue and was more than comfortable with grounds that allowed the children space to enjoy it all.

The huge house was perfect for our family get together- 8 adults, 6 children, baby and two dogs. The children loved the quirky expanse of stairs and landings and rooms running into one another. Great for “extreme hide and seek “! I was still getting lost on the last day. The beds were all comfy with warm duvets and lovely bedding, the kitchens well equipped and the two dishwashers catered easily with all the washing up. Plenty of comfy seating in the two lounges. We enjoyed walks, runs and cycling around the pretty village and some ventured out in the boat for a row. We were fascinated by the photos and pictures of the house and Mill and family through the years. Everyone, from Grannie to the baby and the dogs, loved our stay at Mill House! The only downside was the long slow journey back to the South West ....

Brilliant house not suitable for the elderly or very young as there are 3 staircases and steps everywhere, we loved it, but felt the house needs redecorating and refurbishing. 11 of us enjoyed our stay it was a family 75th birthday celebration and went very well. All the beds were very clean and comfortable the kitchens especially were very well equipped. If I needed a large house to stay in I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
