If you are looking for outdoor adventure you don’t need to venture far, Coniston Water is within walking distance with day boats available for hire or if you fancy a hike there is ‘Coniston Old Man’ which presents a challenge but rewards with fantastic views.
A few minutes’ drive will find you at the other famous Lake District attractions including Windermere or the lakeside towns of Bowness and Ambleside. There is truly something for everyone within easy reach of Coniston and wherever you go it’s a breathtaking journey.
