We have loved our week in Mill Cottage. It is a lovely cottage, so relaxing. We loved the upstairs glass shelving and hanging space and thought it is such an innovative idea and works really well. Also loved having the use of the owners garden, this was a real treat. Thank you Lynette and Ken for a great week.

It took 40 minutes and a lot of asking to find the place along a dirt track with pot holes. It turned out to be open plan downstairs and just a makeshift open plan bedroom upstairs with just a rail for clothes and nasty glass open stacked shelves. Floor boards creaked so much you could hear everything downstairs because there was just a banister.

Response on behalf of the owner; As can be seen from previous reviews before this ladies stay, we have had many visitors who have appreciated the open plan contemporary look we have aimed to achieve in mill cottage. They accept that country living does not always include tarmacked roads, pavements and street lights. The very few who cannot find us ring for directions and we guide them in. They are usually cheerful, friendly and polite – many with happy beautifully behaved dogs – and having enjoyed their stay leave the cottage clean and tidy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even when the weather deteriorated at the end of the week. Only real problem was the TV which was difficult to turn on. Instructions appeared very simple but we still had problems. One suggestion I would make for the future would be to fit a grab handle on the wall of the shower/bath . Older people might find it difficult get out of the bath without slipping.

A comfortable and well-equipped dog-friendly cottage in the charming village of Llangrove. Owners Ken and Lynette (and their three dogs) very welcoming and keen to give guests privacy. Village pub also friendly and lots of beautiful countryside to explore nearby. Would definitely return.
