Fantastic! We booked this at incredibly short notice - and, what a good choice we made! This home-from-home is warm, comfortable, well-equipped and has lots and lots of useful storage. The furnishings and fitments are all of very good quality. Circular first-floor windows and the iron spiral staircase make for a slightly quirky, memorable experience. The Milking Parlour enjoys wonderful views over rolling farmland and has exclusive use of a huge decking area (this is frequently visited by friendly chickens!). The owners are welcoming and supportive without being intrusive and the area offers a surprizing amount to see and do: We spent many days of our two weeks here walking canal towpaths and fascinating old railway track-beds. However, we also made two visits to North Wales as motorway access is excellent. We would certainly return!
