A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

With its own hot tub, this well-presented barn conversion lies close to Fleet Air Arm Museum, with many other attractions also within easy reach.

On the outskirts of South Barrow and set in a peaceful scenic country location between Castle Cary and Yeovil, these two single-storey barn conversions are ideal bases from which to explore south and central Somerset. Duck Egg Cottage (ref 27191) is a mid-terrace barn conversion and Midknowle Barn (ref UKC2481) is end-terraced. Both are well presented, and each has its own hot tub with lovely country views, where you can relax and unwind in. On the doorstep you can visit the famous Haynes Motor Museum with its superb collection of classic cars; Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum with its exciting aircraft carrier deck experience and huge collection of naval planes; and many historic houses such as Montacute House. Slightly further afield are stunning Stourhead House and Gardens. Within easy driving are Glastonbury Tor, the designer outlet of Clarks Village, Wells cathedral city and the West Somerset Steam Railway, all of which offer great days out. Other family days out include Longleat House and Safari Park or exploring the world famous Jurassic Coast. There is also great country walking in the 6 acres of the owner’s smallholding, local pubs to wine and dine in, and golf courses nearby. Beach 25 miles. Shop and pub 2 miles and restaurant 1 mile. Such a lovely and peaceful place to stay, the hot tub was great and being so far in the country side meant we could see the stars (and shooing stars) from the hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at midknowle barn. The pictures on here do not do the place justice. The cottage was very clean and tidy. The bathroom, ensuite, tile floors, carpets and kitchen all seemed brand new and finished to a high standard. Its in a very quiet location. The only time we saw anyone was when we visited Yeovil for a day out. Our young boys loved the hot tub as did we. Hot tub was very clean and well looked after. The Owners were great and very helpful. We had a very relaxing stay here and would 100% stop here again.

Our two dogs enjoyed their stay too !! Will definitely be staying again.Thank You Keith & Lorraine. Linda & Stuart from Exeter.

Went to relax for the week and did exactly that. Spotlesslly clean with everything you need. Visited some lovely national trust properties and of course some lovely country pubs. Hosts Kevin & Lorraine were lovely people who supported our stay in every way, without imposing, they were there if we needed them. A real pleasure to have met them and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a great week! Regards Justin.

A beautiful cottage in the heart of the Somerset countryside with lovely views. Very comfortable beds with excellent cotton bedding, ensuring a good nights sleep. Well equipped with everything you need and all the mod cons. En suite shower room makes it very suitable for older or disabled persons who cannot get into a bath and the cottage is all on one level. My 79 year old Mum was really impressed. Bathroom for double bedroom is large and with shower above. Both showers have hand held heads or large fixed heads and have brilliant power. Patio doors into the garden give it a lovely open feel and it is enclosed to give you privacy. Decking and table and chairs complement the garden and the hot tub is fantastic. The owners met us on our arrival and are lovely people who made us very welcome showing us around and giving instructions on the appliances, etc. A lovely touch was the home made flapjacks, very tasty. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and decorated and has been finished to a very high standard. We would love to visit again and hope we get an opportunity in the future.
