A fabulous detached, luxury house set above Gala Water valley with four gorgeous en-suite bedrooms, a very generous open plan living area and hot tub making this a splendid destination for memorable gatherings.


Cordlean House offers luxury, spacious accommodation set amidst a charming working farm. With a private hot tub and cosy open fire, you’ll be really spoiled.

With glorious views all around, this lovely spacious, detached house enjoys an elevated position on a working farm just 23 miles south of Edinburgh. The bright kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious meals and opens into a south facing living room with a wood burner at one end, a grand piano at the other and delightfully comfortable sofas in between. There are French doors onto the terrace from the kitchen and living room to take advantage of the views over Gala Water valley.
Three of the four en-suite bedrooms have southerly views, and all are beautifully furnished, with high quality beds and beautifully presented linen. The wide terrace is ideal for relaxing meals and the views from the hot tub are equally glorious. Enjoy woodland walks from the doorstep or explore the longer marked routes in the area. Enjoy mountain biking at Glentress near Peebles where there are a good selection of pubs, cafes and independent shops. Visit historic houses like Traquair, Thirlstane Castle and Floors Castle or go horse racing at Kelso. Easy access into Edinburgh by train from Stow or use the convenient Park & Ride. Beach 23 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 11 miles.
