Set around a 15 minute drive to the Carmarthen Bay coastline, this detached holiday home is a short drive from the M4, with access to Pembrokeshire and the stunning Gower Peninsula makes this the perfect touring location. Enjoy a plethora of walks from your doorstep to include a host of activities at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales with a bird of prey centre, butterfly house and Europe’s largest single span glass house.
Middleton Cottage has been lovingly furnished throughout with a spacious open plan kitchen diner with views over the rear enclosed garden, the cosy living room boasts a log burner and is ideal to relax in front of with a good film after a busy day sightseeing. Enjoy a read of some good books or some board games in the snug which acts as a second living space which is ideal to keep children entertained. On the first floor both light and airy bedrooms have been finished with comfort in mind and offer a good nights sleep.
The ancient town of Kidwelly is a 15-minute drive away and is home to one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales, along this wonderful coast is Pembrey Country Park, set in 500 acres of woodland where you can learn to dry ski and toboggan, there’s a children’s play area and 8 miles of golden sands at Cefn Sidan beach. Dylan Thomas’ stomping ground and the township of Laugharne are well worth a trip. Here you can visit his writing shed and see his local pub. The famous seaside walled town of Tenby and the Gower Peninsula are a great day out and within an hour’s drive.
