Description

This apartment is in the ideal location to enjoy a relaxing seaside holiday, with a beach just 200 yards away and use of a hot tub (available 16th Apr-31st Oct).

All on the ground floor.
Living room: With Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With double bed and bunk beds (for children).
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Electric heaters included. Cot and highchair.

Both properties: Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared, honesty box). Enclosed patio with garden furniture. Landscaped grounds with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue (shared). Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. Hot tub (shared, 10am-10pm, 16th April-31st October). No smoking. Visit England 3 Star, Visit England Gold Award. Please note: There is a pond in the grounds.

These two ground floor holiday apartments (refs 29565 and 29566) are adjacent to the owner’s apartment and located in the coastal village of Blue Anchor. Well-appointed and presented, the apartments are ideal for those looking for a comfortable haven whilst exploring this delightful rural area of Somerset. The apartments benefit from a shared garden and hot tub with views over the Bristol Channel and the renowned West Somerset Railway, and they even have a shared laundry room, with washing machine and tumble dryer that guests can use. The properties are located a short walk from Blue Anchor Beach, the sandy part is tidal, and the Blue Anchor Station for the steam railway. There are also local shops, pub and restaurants within walking distance. Further beaches can be found at Dunster and Porlock. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor. Visit the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Enjoy a walk and an ice cream on the promenade at Minehead, which also has a good array of shops. The West Somerset Railway is worth a visit for those with an interest in steam engines. Dunster Castle (NT) with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and mill, or Porlock Weir make for an interesting day out. Perfect for the whole family, there is a public indoor swimming pool situated just ¼ mile away. Fishing is also available nearby. Beach 200 yards, cafe 400 yards and swimming pool 500 yards. Shop 500 yards, pubs and restaurant ½ mile.

    Very nice apartment, clean and had everything we needed. Nice little touches like a pint Of milk in the fridge and the doggy box! Very pleased 😀

    Very clean and super comfortable beds - our two Bichons were welcomed everywhere we went - a lovely cottage and we would recommend a stay in this very friendly cottage and friendly part of the country!!!

    An immaculately clean downstairs flat, with spectacular sea views to Minehead from the kitchen and porch, living room, beautiful countryside views as well and farmland. The steam train also runs near and can be watched going back and forth. It made us jump the first night when it came back from a murder mystery tour, but normally it finishes early. Enjoyed the hot tub and views of the Canada geese who were roosting in the next field until the farmer mowed his hay. The dog even had his own badge to wear with the telephone of Merlin house, and his own box with sponge and treats inside.

    Very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was superb. Very clean, plenty of room and really comfortable. We had our Labrador with us and he had his own box of things. The cookies and milk were very much appreciated. The outside space was lovely. Our own private garden plus access to the rest of the garden and a hot tub with views to die for. The location for us with Riley was perfect. You can see the huge beach from the apartment, dog friendly all year. The tide goes out for miles leaving a lovely sandy beach. There is a pub 5 minutes away, very friendly and fabulous food. And a café 3 minutes away, again very friendly and a great breakfast. Both dog friendly. The apartment had a lot of information on the surrounding area for us to explore. We definitely would recommend this apartment and the area. We will be back.
