This pretty cottage offers a large open plan living area which will be the heart of your holiday. The country kitchen has all the facilities you would expect in a Yorkshire holiday home. The seating area is to one side with large settees sat in front of a traditional wood burner, just perfect for an evening in front of the TV watching your favourite holiday movie. The breakfast bar is great for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day and to sit and enjoy a delicious home cooked evening meal. Step outside and Martin Cottage offers a nearby side garden with private hot tub (at cost) and garden furniture.

For those looking to enjoy the surrounding countryside there are miles of public footpaths and cycle routes including the famous Wolds Way. The Pocklington Canal also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. A little further afield is the historic city of York and up market town of Beverley, you can spend a day at the races in both cities! The stately homes of Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Burnby Hall, home to the national collection of water lilies are also within a short drive. The east coast towns of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey are also within easy reach.
