Had a brilliant time. Cottage lovely and cosy, great bed with a really comfortable mattress. The people of Boscastle are so friendly loved eating out and the Cobweb and The Wellington are great places to go. A must for people is the Wellington on a Wednesday night when it's singers night. It is not a karaoke it is people from around Boscastle singing shanty songs and everyone joins in, never been to a night like that before felt really welcome. We are not walkers so didn't go on any walks up the hills and coastline but I imagine it would be beautiful if you did. We took the local bus going places as you get to see more of beautiful Cornwall. Once again Cottages have not let us down in their cottages for rent.

Lovely ancient cottage with thick walls. Traditional decor added to the charm. Cozy well equipped kitchen and so close to the town. Romantic cottage but unfortunately no Wi Fi which made rainy days tricky.

A very nice location and also in close proximity of other destinations to visit. The cottage was cosy and only a 2 minute walk to local facilities. We enjoyed our holiday at the cottage and would stay in a similar area again

Absolutely perfect holiday in the most beautiful location. Couple of good dog friendly pubs on the doorstep and as a base for exploring was ideal. Going on holiday with a dog can be troublesome but here it was a dream. Please be aware at the rear of the cottage it’s open plan and shared ownership so not secure but all very dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage and location but the garden isn’t enclosed so we couldn’t let our dog out on his own. If you don’t have a dog it’s not a problem. Boscastle is just beautiful.

Overall Mariners was a pleasant cottage with nothing particularly wrong with it at all, just didn't suit us in the end but that's not the owners fault. Parking could be an issue at times but there is a carpark near by where cars can be parked until tourists have left for the day. The décor is dated but it is clean and well matched. More storage in the kitchen could be made available by clearing some of the cupboards out but that is easily remedied by the owners. Its a very peaceful cottage in beautiful surroundings. There was no land line and mobile phone access was non existent but I guess that's down to your network provider. The whole area was limited in this way so having wifi could be a great addition. (this was stated in the details so we were aware of this). we were very comfy here, very close to some lovely walks, neighbours were lovely.
