Hafod was the original coach house and was also once part of the same thriving farmstead in the heart of Manorbier. Manorbier beach is just a short stroll and has a delightful sandy beach and is great for rock-pooling, surfing, and swimming.

Hafod has a ground floor kitchen with a beautiful slate floor and an oak winding staircase rising to the living room and bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom boasts two etched glass windows overlooking the courtyard, and the first-floor seating area has windows with stunning views over the walled garden and across the valley to Manorbier Church. The windows of the twin bedroom look across the valley to the church with sea views from its mezzanine floor. An assortment of small early 17th century outbuildings and fortified garden walls complete the character of this unique and very special place. Beach 0.5 mile.

This property can be booked together with Ty Mor (QC1266) and Delfryn (QC1267) can accommodate up to 17 guests.

This was our third time at Hafod because we love it. I have marked down the equipment, as the large teapot had gone as well as a few glasses of different sorts. Overall though, as lovely as ever!

We loved this cottage, the location is fabulous- just five easy minutes walk down to the castle and the same again down to the beach. Unfortunately the cafe was closed for our visit. But The Castle Inn does fabulous food, but you do need to prebook. And the local Nisa store Stocked everything you need, and opened every day, so no need for a supermarket trip. I do think the cottage needed some garden seating (the wooden set in the photos are all broken) and clothes line, and even a BBQ.
