We had a great time at this house. There were a few problems though. We ordered sheets - but weren't given enough sheets for each bed. Children shared a bed for the first night. Strange that the beds weren't made up if you've paid extra... The bed in the main bedroom is rock hard. I had to sleep on a folded up duvet to cushion it! We were told on booking in we had to pay a cleaning fee - around a hundred euros. Nevertheless we left the house in a reasonable state, dishes washed, surfaces clean, tidied up, etc, but we got a text (a text!!??!!) from the agency while driving home berating us on what a state the house was in. How we were terrible people because we didn't empty a bin in the bathroom. They said we'd left shoes... These were in the cupboard when we arrived along with other random stuff. The shelves were so dusty I had to clean them before unpacking. There were used tissues on another bedroom floor and sweet wrappers too. I have no problem cleaning up after ourselves, but I think it's a bit much being expected to clean after previous occupants and clean to the n th degree if you've paid a cleaning fee. It was obvious that the house was not cleaned properly and checked by the agency before we moved in. If you can get past those things (we didn't let them bother us) the house is in a really convenient location and we had an amazing holiday.
