A lot of care has gone into making this a stunning and homely croft cottage. The cottage feels quite isolated but is only 5/7 mins drive to the shop, pub, post office etc.. We had a dog and a 5 year old grandchild with us - to be able to have a safe enclosed garden plus walks you can go on without driving was a real bonus. Close to Castle Tioram, Salen Oakwoods, Glenuig smokery and lots of other things to do locally including spotting wildlife. We have holidayed in Ardnamurchan for over 30 years, normally in the Glenborrodale area. This is the first time we have stayed towards Moidart. This cottage is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Very clean and the welcome pack with the bottle of fizz was a delight. Sean Reid, the owner is on hand, very friendly and welcoming and ever willing to chat and share tips about where to visit. Would definitely recommend and will come back again.

Took the dog for the first time. Great place for walking. Extremely comfortable cottage and interesting location. Weather was surprisingly grey for the week we stayed but ok. Limited other things to do in the area.

What a lovely little place! It was immaculate and very cosy. It had all of the amenities you could need and then some! The kitchen is better equipped than my own at home. The welcome fruit basket was a lovely touch, and just read the comments in the guest book - you'll see how great it has been for a long time. My only advice would be make sure you take what you need with you, as it is fairly remote. Fort William has supermarkets but is over an hours' drive away. My only criticism is it isn't clear when you book, just how close the caravans are to the property. Thank you & We will be back.

We had a fantastic week. The cottage was welcoming, comfortable and had everything we could have hoped for and more. Can't wait to go back. :-)
