This was our third visit to Lynwood and have already booked to return next year. We feel so at home at this bungalow and are very happy when we stay. The area is beautiful and has many places to visit we are even planning a trip over to Ireland Glasgow and Edunburgh. We always seem to choose a good week for weather we had a beautiful sunny week for the third year in a row. If you want a chilling break the. This is the place to be I would highly recommend Lynwood.

Lovely cottage. Ideal location for peace and quiet of the machars. Cottage very clean and neat., except for the windows. Lovely secure garden and drive. Very bare kitchen. Not even a teabag, a grain of sugar etc. No washing up liquid. No basics at all. Thankfully there is a local shop! Double bedroom very attractive. Triple single bed room poor. Beds comfy. Bedroom furniture disgraceful. Living room comfy and bright but threadbare carpet. This is an ideal cottage if you are looking for a no frills break. Definitely not great value for money but we did have a relaxing break all the same.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and the house was nice and large with plenty of room. There was also an enclosed garden for the dog. There were a few problems with the boiler for the heating needing to be constantly reset to turn it on and the Internet coverage which was only accessible on one side of one bedroom. The lower oven also didn't seem to work and the sliding back door was very stiff to operate.
