A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Suitable for a couple with a child, this property is all on the ground floor, and has easy access to the moors, coast and York itself.

Quietly situated close to a small caravan park and near the owner’s home, these seven holiday lodges (refs W43499, W43500, UKC224, UKC824, UKC1240, UKC1241 and UKC2724) are well presented and comfortably furnished. The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire. The classic English market town of Pocklington, 4 miles, has an array of shops and an excellent reputation for its live events. There are walking and cycling trails from the doorstep and scenic drives through the Yorkshire Wolds which inspired the famous artist David Hockney. Close by is the Yorkshire Air Museum and Burnby Hall Gardens, plus family fun can be found at the York Maze. There is easy access into the ancient city of York from Grimston Bar Park and Ride, 7 miles. This vibrant walled city appeals to all ages with its wealth of world-renowned attractions, including the iconic minster, the castle and railway museums, the Jorvik Centre and Cliffords Tower. There are art galleries and theatres, quirky shops along the cobbled streets and numerous inns serving real ale. Take a trip on the open-top bus, walk along the city walls and cruise along the river, or enjoy a day out at the Knavesmire racecourse. Had a great five day stay with day trips to Scarborough, York, Allerthorpe Country Park. The site is nice and quiet and in a good location for days out. Pocklington is nearby and has a large Sainsburys and an Aldi store for groceries and other items.

Absolutely lovely lodge, and the owners were very polite and knowledgeable about the area. The nearby Wilberfoss has a very well stocked Costcutter for any food you might need, and Pocklington is only a short bus ride away! Definitely recommend it for a break away from the hustle and bustle.
