Lovely quiet location. Lodge was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Easy access into York on the park and ride with buses every 10 minutes. Enjoyed a nice drive through the Wolds to the coast. All in all a great weekend despite the weather!

We had a fantastic time. It rained nearly the whole time we were there, but we made the most of it. Would definitely go again. Very comfortable, warm and clean.

We all enjoyed our stay at Ash Lodge, comfortable, warm and surprisingly roomy. There are some nice touches like a variety of DVDs for those wet days, board games for the family, TV and well equipped Kitchen, even nightlights the owners have thought of most things. The weather was not warm enough to enjoy the decking area or alfresco lunches this time. The lodge and quiet small park it is on was an ideal base for trips out to the many costal resorts and attractions. A very good base for York and the park and ride service is superb.

Thoroughly enjoyed weeks break at Ash Lodge. Very clean and well-equipped. Lodge was well situated for visiting surrounding attractions. Plenty of wildlife. We had visits from rabbits, squirrels and lots of different varieties of birds. Was lovely just to sit on decking and watch it all. Had to stop the dog catching a rabbit though! Weather was very good also which again we enjoyed sitting in sunshine on decking. WI-FI was a bit erratic at times but nothing to complain about. We would definately go back again and would recommend it.

Lovely quiet site. Five minute drive to the village of Pocklington which has a couple of dog friendly pubs that also allow dogs in. If you are going to York I would advise driving to a Park and Ride and getting the bus in, only £3.30 return. Ash lodge was lovely and very clean. Washing machine came in handy and there even was a washing line. The walk in shower was amazing. Nice touches like hand soap and cleaning products were there for you to use. There are DVDs games and books available. The site itself is gated with only about 7 lodges and a few spaces for caravans, so it felt really safe. All in all a really relaxing week
