They are within easy reach of the historic cities such as Bath with its Roman baths and Royal Crescent, Wells with cathedral and Bishops’ Palace and Bristol with a fascinating history. The picturesque town of Cheddar, famous for its amazing gorge and caves, Glastonbury and its abbey ruins and Tor, and Axbridge are all worth a visit. Beach 4½ miles.
