Tucked away in a little known and quite idyllic location in Cornwall, just a few miles from the town of Callington nestling in the valley below Bodmin Moor, is the village of Linkinhorne. A little rural piece of paradise hidden off the tourist routes. The village of Linkinhorne has a lovely pub less than 1 mile from these three cottages. Primrose (ref 30212) and Snowdrop (ref 30213) have been superbly converted from old stone barns and stand in the grounds of the owner’s 16th-century home yet both have a degree of privacy, each with a fully enclosed patio garden, and there is a wildlife pond with running water and an adjoining picnic area in the grounds. Snowdrop has been specifically designed to cater for those who use wheelchairs with little or no assistance required. Daffodill (ref UKC1333) is a fabulous, detached, architect-designed barn conversion which has two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, and a lovely oak timber living room with large glazed windows overlooking the tranquil garden and meadow beyond. Daffodil is the perfect quiet spot to totally chill and relax in rural Cornwall, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Complete with underfloor heating, a wood burner for those chillier evenings and sumptuous furnishings, this property is an absolute delight. Dogs are most welcome here and the friendly owners who live to the rear of the holiday cottages are most accommodating. For the keen walkers there is an abundance of walking trails around the area or a little further afield in just under an hour you could visit both North and South Cornish coast lines. STERTS open-air theatre is just a short drive from the cottages, a fabulous place to visit to watch a play or listen to poetry or music, set high up on the edge of the Bodmin Moor. Beach 20 miles. Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub serving food 1¼ miles.
Primrose (ref 30212), Snowdrop (ref 30213) and Daffodil (ref UKC1333) can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.

Great Location as a base. Owners very helpful and on-site, which is helpful. Cottage well proportioned and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Great for relaxing and walking, lovely pond within to site, with a bench to sit and contemplate life. Thoroughly recommend and would return to this site.

The cottage is well equipped for any disabled guest (as we are not disabled) this review is only based on that fact. Positives on the cottage - Spacious Negatives on the cottage - The bathroom and kitchen was dirty on arrival, we had to clean everything before we used it. The shower was extremely grubby and the shower head was dirty, The TV in the lounge and bedroom is very old and small, The blinds in the lounge are broken, and the curtains fall off the rail. The sofa is again very old and too small for guests, the rug in the cottage is nasty, and was removed as it was smelly and a trip hazard. The place boasts a gaming room which is does not, it has a damaged ping pong table in the garage with the washing machine which your not allowed to use.
