Really lovely place to stay with everything you could wish for especially the beautiful gardens. Scenic walks right from doorstep and friendly local pub with garden. Plenty to do in and around the area, we wished we could have stayed longer. The experienced owners have got it just perfect and it was made extra special by the warm welcome and helpfulness of the neighbours whilst the owners were away. Thank you so much to you all, we would love to come back to stay again.

My husband and myself and Thea the Labrador had a lovely stay at Lower Mill Cottage. It was extremely cosy and everything you needed was catered for. The area was great for walking and exploring Devon and Cornwall. We took the owners recommendation and went to Cawsand and Kingsand and had a great time . The local pub was only a short walk away and was very friendly and served great food . All in all we would recommend this cottage to friends and will definitely go back .

Lovely cosy cottage for 2 set in a beautiful garden. Very private, tucked away at the end of a lane. Good sized rooms, modern kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable with excellent facilities etc. A warm cottage with good central heating, ideal for off season breaks. Excellent value for money. Nice pub 5 minutes walk.

Normally we choose a fresh location for each of our many self-catering holidays, \we were thoroughly delighted with this second visit. Lower Mill is worth an even better rating than you give it.

Our 4th visit to this truly beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings. The owners Mr and Mrs Nail are so very helpful and welcoming - even booked a doctors appointment for my Husband!. On arrival at the cottage a delicious Devon cream tea awaits you in the kitchen. The cottage is extremely well equipped, everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The gardens surrounding the property are lovely to wander through with the river tumbling past. so relaxing to listen to as you fall asleep at night.
